Due to the current situation, we are now offering our SIA Security Guard course in the comfort of your own home.

This virtual course will allow you to laptop/desktop or tablet.

You will be able to interact with the other learners in your group as well as your tutor, as you would do so in a classroom.

Security Guard Training

In order to obtain an SIA licence, you will need to show that you are trained to the right level. This applies to front line staff only.

To get one of the qualifications linked to Security Guard licensing you will need to attend and take three training modules and pass three exams. The duration of the training should be 28 hours. The course may be delivered over four days or during weekends and/or evening sessions.

Our Door Supervisor courses are designed to exceed the Security Industry Authority and awarding bodies Licensing expectations. With our dedicated team of SIA security instructors you can rest assured that your security training needs will be exceeded. The SIA Door Supervisor is a 1 licence two roles. This licence allows you to work as a Security Guard and as a Door Supervisor or within the entertainment industry such as licensed night clubs

Subjects covered include behavioural standards, legislation relevant to the role, search procedures, powers of arrest, recording incidents and crime scene preservation, avoiding conflict and reducing personal risk, conflict management, reducing risk and communicating effectively.

The qualification comprises four mandatory units:
Unit 1 - Working within the private security industry
Unit 2 - Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry
Unit 3 - Conflict Management within the Private Security Industry
Unit 4 - Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry
