Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations - Virtual/Classroom

This award has been developed to meet the training and licensing requirements of the SIA. The qualification is awarded on successful completion of three units: Working in the Private Security Industry, Working as a CCTV Operator and Practical Operation of CCTV Equipment.

The qualification comprises 3 mandatory units:

· Unit 1: Working within the Private Security Industry
· Unit 2: Working as a CCTV Operator within the Private Security Industry
· Unit 3: Practical Operation of CCTV Equipment within the Private Security Industryjk

Assessment:

Working within the Private Security Industry
This unit will be assessed by an externally set and marked multiple choice question paper consisting of 72 questions. The examination will last for 110 minutes and learners will be required to gain 70% pass mark.

Working as a CCTV Operator within the Private Security Industry
This unit will be assessed by an externally set and marked multiple choice question paper consisting of 40 questions. The examination will last for 60 minutes and learners will be required to gain  70% pass mark

Practical use of a CCTV System
This unit will be assessed by an externally set and internally marked practical assessment. 100% pass mark
