A flexible course that incorporates everything you need to gain a CSCS Card.
The course includes health and safety training, the REHIS Elementary Health and Safety Qualification Level 1 qualification: Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, the CITB Health and Safety Operatives Test and the application of your CSCS Card. Health and Safety in a Construction Environment: This qualification gives people who are already or working or wanting to work, in the construction industry, the essential knowledge to manage health and safety.
Passing this qualification also allows you to take your CITB test and to apply for your CSCS card. This qualification is a REHIS course and is regulated by the UK qualifications regulators in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) You will gain the following critical knowledge: * Preparation for your CSCS card application and passing the CITB test. * How to take personal responsibility for health and safety, and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. * How to keep make risk assessments, method statements and report accidents. * How to manage risks involving work equipment, moving vehicles and mobile plant, fire, electricity, manual handling, noise, vibration, hazardous substances, alcohol and drugs. * The importance of health and safety signs and personal protective equipment.
Learners pass the qualification by completing an online exam which consists of 30 multiple-choice questions based on the learning completed. Candidates have half hour to complete the exam and must answer at least 18 questions correctly to pass. The online qualifications system allows us to access your results at any time.
You will also be required to revise for the Health and Safety including the opportunity to do some CITB Health and Safety Mock Tests with feedback from our trainer and you will sit the CITB Health and Safety Test. The CITB Test consists of 50 multiple choice questions . Results are instant and the learner will have a score report to take away with them on the day. Upon successful completion of both tests, we will help you apply for your CSCS Card. The course price includes health and safety training, Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification, CSCS Health and Safety Test and application for the CITB Operatives Card.
